11/11/08. Bruce Gjovig of Gyda
Varden Lodge in Grand Forks was awarded the Royal Norwegian Order
of Merit in a ceremony at the Norwegian Embassy in Washington, D.C.
The award is the highest honor given by Norway to foreign nationals
and is a result of Gjovig's work on the Nordic Initiative at the
University of North Dakota. Congratulations Bruce!!
12/28/07. Tubfrim Stamps: Two ways to deliver
your stamps. Either give them to your convention
delegates to deliver ito the convention in June or mail them to
Karen Huck, District 4 Tubfrim Coordinator, 3340 Grandview Road,
East Helena, Montana, 59635. Be sure they are packaged in
plastic bags. In July they will be placed in a container
and shipped to Norway.

8/3/06 Field Staff Change in Title. Our
Insurance sales force representatives (formally called Field Staff)
have a the new title of Financial Benefits Counselor.

Bitterrootdalen Lodge in Hamilton, MT has put together a traveling
trunk for the purpose of educating our youth about Scandinavia.
